The 20th "National Brand Jade Mountain Awards" ceremony was held on October 24th, where Shin Kong Life won a total of seven awards, including the "Best Brand Award" and the "Best Product Award," for its projects such as "Digital Service Transformation Dynamics," "Shin Kong One-Mu Field Happy Dining Table," "Financial Insurance Education Action Plan," "Dajia Mazu Pilgrimage Activity Project," "60th Anniversary Image Advertisement," and "Shin Kong Life's Eating at Ease Lifetime Health Insurance Supplementary Terms." Notably, it received the highest honor of the National Award for "Digital Service Transformation Dynamics," showcasing Shin Kong Life's successful promotion of ESG initiatives. Its efforts in digital services, product development, green public welfare, education promotion, and brand image have been highly regarded by consumers and professional judging panels.

 

As Shin Kong Life celebrates its centennial, it has been actively investing in insurance technology in recent years, practicing inclusive finance principles. It continually optimizes customer service experiences in areas such as customer service, insurance application, and claims processing. Through continuous education and training programs, personalized promotion assistance, and incentive guidance, it actively cultivates the digital capabilities of its agents, resulting in a 14% annual growth in the number of individuals obtaining e-agent digital service certification. This reflects an increasing prevalence of agents using digital tools to serve policyholders, saving over 16 million sheets of paper annually and reducing carbon emissions by over 110 tons. Shin Kong Life actively promotes green services in collaboration with policyholders, portraying a professional service image for the digital era of insurance.

 

In terms of product development, Shin Kong Life aligns with the trend of green finance by incorporating ESG issues into product development considerations. The "Shin Kong Life Eating at Ease Lifetime Health Insurance Supplementary Terms" focuses on digestive system diseases, emphasizing enhanced coverage for hospitalization and surgical medical expenses. It meets the health insurance needs of individuals in a carbon-reduced lifestyle, strengthens policyholders' health risk management capabilities, and allows for future additions to the policy to meet the needs of those seeking effective contract renewal, thereby promoting fair treatment for customers and driving positive cycles among consumer health, corporate sustainability, and societal environment.

   

To ensure food safety and sustainable agricultural development in Taiwan and respond to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals by 2030, Shin Kong Life initiated the "Shin Kong One-Mu Field Happy Dining Table" green public welfare project from the perspective of "sustainable dining." Through concrete green actions such as Shin Kong's small farmer market, collective procurement, agricultural experiences, food safety insurance policies, and sustainable dining initiatives, it gradually realizes its goals. An assessment by a third-party consulting company calculated that for every 1 New Taiwan Dollar invested by Shin Kong Life in this project in 2022, it generated a social benefit of 9.85 New Taiwan Dollars.
 

In addition to emphasizing food and agricultural education and environmental sustainability issues, Shin Kong Life recognizes that insurance education is the foundation of sustainable finance. It designs different courses to teach insurance knowledge based on different groups. For students, it offers internship opportunities, financial insurance courses, scholarships, and collaborative research opportunities through a "industry-academia cooperation" model for financial and insurance majors. For non-majors, it introduces insurance education through methods such as the ATCC National College Business Case Competition, financial growth camps, and corporate visits. For the general public, it promotes lifelong learning through various channels such as organizing "Shin Kong Life Beautiful Life Lectures," publishing the "Shin Kong Life New Life" policyholder quarterly, and establishing a new type of insurance experience store called "Life Design Studio LIFE Lab.," advocating for lifelong learning and conveying information on insurance planning, finance, and health to help the public understand the importance of insurance planning.
 

Having deeply rooted itself in Taiwan for 60 years, Shin Kong Life enthusiastically gives back to society with its motto "Local Shin Kong, Authentic Service." It strongly supports local sports and tourism activities. For three consecutive years, it has collaborated with the "Dajia Mazu Pilgrimage Activity" organized by the Taichung Dajia Mazu Temple to give back to the local community through various means, fostering community awareness and revitalizing the local economy. This year, the number of participants in the "Dajia Mazu Pilgrimage Activity" exceeded 3 million, creating an economic output value of up to 6 billion New Taiwan Dollars and gaining significant corporate brand exposure and favorability.
 

In its 60th anniversary year, Shin Kong Life launched a new brand image advertisement under the theme "With Light, Fulfilling Every Expectation." It conveys the message that Shin Kong Life, through insurance, serves as a stabilizing force in society, striving to achieve its corporate mission of "insurance for everyone, security for every family." It hopes to empower individuals to face life's changes and challenges with courage and without fear, to pursue their dreams or face life's milestones bravely, influencing lives with their own lives, and cherishing every moment of companionship in life.
