Firmly believing that "health is the best employee benefit," Shin Kong Life specially planned the "Forest Movement" sustainable health promotion activity to help employees establish good living habits and create a healthy workplace. Combined with the external Walkii APP's "Healthy Forest" project, it encourages employees to exchange their walking steps for planted trees in a hands-on and manageable way. Following the achievement of redeeming and planting 47 saplings in 2024, in 2025, in response to the New Taipei City Government's "Plant a Tree for the Earth: A Million People Planting a Million Trees" initiative, the company launched the "Walk GO New Forest Life" mission. Calling on a thousand people to participate in this walking and carbon reduction activity, it attracted 1,283 employees, accumulating 1.5 billion steps. This reduced carbon emissions by approximately 210,000 kilograms and earned 151 saplings, which were planted in the Qieding Wetland in Kaohsiung, implementing health and environmental sustainability through action.

The saplings redeemed through Shin Kong Life's walking and carbon reduction efforts were planted during the "Creating a New Cape Paradise" tree-planting event held in collaboration with the Kaohsiung City Love Tree Association. At the adopted afforestation site in Qieding Wetland, the company called on 50 employees and policyholders from the Gangshan Branch Office in late January to step into the Qieding Park 14 site and plant 200 Taiwanese native tree species. These included Milky Mangrove, Indian Almond, Indian Ivy-Rue, Myoporum bontioides, Antidesma pentandrum, and Beach Naupaka, taking concrete action for land restoration. The Qieding Wetland, located in the western coastal area, is an important wintering habitat for migratory birds. Soil salinization has made plant growth difficult, affecting the birds' resting environment and causing a decrease in species diversity. By planting these tree species with high wind and salt resistance, it is hoped that a more resilient ecological foundation can be built in the harsh coastal environment, providing suitable habitat conditions for wildlife and achieving the goal of conserving biodiversity.

This event was not just about planting trees; it was also a learning experience returning directly to the land. During the sapling planting process, employees and policyholders participated in the "Little Green's Wish" interactive experience, embodying small saplings to personally feel the difficulties of survival under natural challenges and human threats. Through the process of digging holes, planting, covering with soil, laying cardboard, and nailing bamboo poles, adults and children deeply understood that the growth of a tree requires patience and dedication. The enthusiastic involvement of Shin Kong Life partners and policyholders ensured that change is no longer just a slogan but is truly left in the soil to slowly sprout over time.
