Shin Kong Life, a subsidiary of TS Holdings (2887), has long cared for issues surrounding Taiwan's super-aged society development, particularly the public's preparations for medical care, long-term care, and financial life in their later years. To this end, Shin Kong Life Chairman Wei Pao-sheng, in his capacity as Standing Supervisor of the Friends of the Armed Forces Association (FAFA), accompanied by FAFA Secretary-General Chien Shih-wei, private business friend Wang Yu-ming, Chairman of Sheng Li Interior Decoration Engineering Co., Ltd., and a group of 20 Shin Kong Life agency colleagues, traveled to the Taitung Chihhang Air Base on the morning of the 21st to offer tribute gifts and salute the military. During the visit, they also promoted Shin Kong's "Glory Project," broadly inviting retired military personnel to join Shin Kong and create new retirement income for their post-retirement careers. In the afternoon, the group visited the Taiwan Gleaners' Society (hereinafter referred to as Gleaners' Society) Pingtung Adult Center to donate non-toxic, fresh fruits and vegetables grown by local Shin Kong small farmers, along with consolation money, while caring for and alleviating the long-term care pressures of disadvantaged groups. This marks Chairman Wei's third visit to the Gleaners' Society Pingtung Adult Center in the past three years.

Shin Kong Life's "Glory Project" was officially launched in August 2025, making it the first recruitment program in the industry specifically tailored for retired military personnel. Prior to their retirement from the national armed forces, the project provides multiple professional insurance and financial training courses and assists them in obtaining licenses, enabling them to seamlessly transition into a new workplace upon retirement. After entering the workforce, they are provided with workplace advantages such as "stable income," "flexible working hours," and "accumulated financial skills," creating new value for their post-retirement lives and increasing their retirement financial resources.

The Gleaners' Society Pingtung Adult Center primarily shelters HIV-infected individuals as well as foreign pregnant migrant workers and children. As Taiwan fully entered a "super-aged society" in 2025, approximately 14,000 HIV-infected individuals are over the age of 50. Due to society's insufficient understanding of HIV, aging among HIV-infected individuals faces major challenges in long-term care. Chairman Wei Pao-sheng, who also serves as a board member of the Gleaners' Society, stated that Shin Kong Life has long cared for the Gleaners' Society. Through the annual "Shin Kong One Acre Field Happiness Dining Table" surplus food and food-saving initiative, healthy, non-toxic fruits and vegetables are shared with the most needy disadvantaged groups. This not only achieves the goals of "no waste of resources and the continuation of love," but also allows a deep understanding of the later-life needs of these disadvantaged groups through personal visits during the donations. He hopes that the general public and Shin Kong will work together to attach importance to the long-term care dilemmas faced by aging HIV-infected individuals, realizing the vision of "the elderly find a fitting end, and the able-bodied find meaningful employment."

Shin Kong Life actively implements ESG actions. Through the "Shin Kong One Acre Field Happiness Dining Table" ESG green public welfare project, it signs "Mutual Good Pledges" with numerous Taiwanese local small farmers, caring for the sustainable development of Taiwan's agriculture while committing to investing in community public welfare actions to create a prosperous and mutually beneficial society for sustainable development. Over the years, it has repeatedly won accolades such as the "Asia Responsible Enterprise Awards (AREA)" and the "Taiwan Sustainable Action Awards (TSAA)." After prioritizing the protection of sustainable agriculture, "Shin Kong One Acre Field Happiness Dining Table" has also extended its vision of protection from land to oceans and water resources. It is expected to continue calling on corporate volunteers to invest in biodiversity restoration actions such as marine cleanups, coral planting, and fish fry release in the future.
