Shin Kong Life has a longstanding commitment to National Health and actively promotes corporate volunteer services. In response to World AIDS Day on December 1, Chairman Mark Wei, along with colleagues from Pingtung and partners from the Shin Kong Small Farmers project, volunteered to deliver nearly 150 kilograms of fresh produce grown by Shin Kong Small Farmers to the Pingtung Adult Center of Harmony Home Taiwan Foundation. This outreach aims to provide appropriate care and support to HIV-infected individuals, non-native pregnant migrant workers, and children, aligning with Sustainable Development Goals SDG 3 ("Good Health and Well-Bing ") and SDG 10 ("Reduce Inequality").

Harmony Home Taiwan Foundation, recently honored with the 9th Aurora trust Award Award, focuses on assisting vulnerable migrant women, regardless of nationality, and children, providing 24-hour full-day care. Chairman Mark Wei, also a director of the Harmony Home Taiwan Foundation, donates caring funds, urging the public to pay attention to the challenges of long-term care faced by aging HIV-infected individuals and realizing the vision of "a meaningful elderly life and a purposeful vigorous life." With Taiwan entering a "super-aging society" in 2025, approximately 14,000 HIV-infected individuals will be over 50 years old, posing a significant challenge due to societal misconceptions.

In this regard, Mr. Mark Wei, who is also the director of the Harmony Home Taiwan Foundation, also made a donation as a director of the Harmony Home Taiwan Foundation, throwing out a brick to attract jade, calling on the public to pay attention to the long-term care difficulties faced by AIDS-infected people who are aging, so as to realize the vision of "A life for the elderly, a life for the strong". Shin Kong Life's Chairman, Mr. Mark Wei, also reminded the public that long-term care has become a problem for everyone in Taiwan's aging society, and that with the advent of the high-inflation era, it is advisable for the public to plan for long-term care insurance as early as possible to cope with long-term care risks in the future.

Shin Kong Life has been promoting corporate volunteering, incorporating volunteer leave into formal personnel systems, encouraging employees to participate in community service, and fulfilling corporate social responsibility. Chairman Mark Wei leads by example, inviting colleagues from Pingtung and Shin Kong Small Farmers to volunteer at the Harmony Home Taiwan Foundation, urging employees to engage in socially valuable volunteer services while pursuing business performance, encouraging employees not to forget to give back to the community while pursuing business results, to participate in volunteer services of social value, to care for the needy in the community, to contribute to the needy with their own resources, and to maximize the spirit of mutual assistance in insurance. In 2023, Shin Kong Life has accumulated more than 35,000 hours of employee volunteer service up to the third quarter of this year.

Shin Kong Life adheres to fair customer treatment, placing a long-term commitment on people. Whether in developing products or planning service strategies, the company is user-centric, embodying the principles of inclusive finance.
